Regina Atim

Regina Atim, PharmD is a Regulatory Compliance and Clinical Informatics expert. She has dedicated her career to advancing patient safety through her expertise in Pharmaceutical Science and Clinical Informatics. It is Dr. Atim’s belief that patient safety is best advanced when Human Factors Engineering is leveraged to inform the design of a product, especially if the device requires interoperability with Electronic Health Records. To help drive this initiative, Dr. Atim founded Clinicians Touch Healthcare Solutions (CTH).

Dr. Atim earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Sciences- Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science; her Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University, and her Board Certification in Medical Affairs from ACMA.

Her 15 years of experience span across the healthcare continuum from hospital pharmacy practice, nuclear medicine and community health center management, to regulatory project management, Medical Device development, and Human Factors Engineering.

As a small business owner of Clinicians Touch Healthcare Solutions, Regina has leveraged her pharmacy experience to provide regulatory, EHR, and quality support to clients. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of San Diego teaching Healthcare Informatics at the master’s level and is also their clinical placement coordinator.

She has worked with organizations such as FDA, Pfizer, Johns Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland Medical Center, Cerner, and The Delmarva Foundation, to name a few.

Regina is a strategic leader, collaborative business partner, polished speaker and subject matter expert adept at leveraging existing relationships and developing new accounts.
